Hi! I am Sazia.

I’m an artist, writer, and dreamer from: Bangladesh, Queens (NY), and Newark (NJ). My works range from traditional drawings and paintings to mixed media and text-based art. My creative endeavors are rooted in a love for stories and driven by a desire to understand the people and the world around me visually, poetically, and intellectually. 

I studied art, literature, and international relations at the City University of New York. Currently I work as an animation producer at TED-Ed and help to create educational short films for a global audience. Before that, I worked as a program manager at the Scholastic Awards and helped aspiring artists and writers find scholarship, exhibition, and publication opportunities.
